The Oracle

This piece challenges the accepted oral tradition that the Oracle of Delphi always took the shape of a woman. In moments inappropriate for mortal eyes, however, time during which the comprehension of a human was of no concern, this presence adopted its "true" form: ever-mobile, hosting an evolving snake born of the all-seeing eye, and bearing the flames eternal.


The Offering

This piece dives deeply into the question of what we really know of the Elder Gods of the Deep. If a vestige of human carnage were offered as a sacrifice, would it be deemed acceptable? What tameless wrath ensued when the offerings ceased to sate an appetite whose depths remain unmeasured?
